  • 1〔保管を頼む〕put~in a person's keeping (/ care); entrust; entrust; राख्नु ; थम्याउनु ; थमाइ दिनु ; सुम्पनु / सुम्पिनु ;〔金を銀行に〕deposit; पैसा राख्नु ; जम्मा (/ बचत) गर्नु ;
    • 私のお金は銀行に預けてある My money is deposited in the bank. / I have (/ keep / leave) my money in the bank. बैंकमा पैसा जम्मा (/ बचत) गरिएको छ ।
    • 寄付箱は彼に預けてある The contribution box is in his keeping.; The contribution box has been left with him.; The contribution box has been entrusted to his care. अनुदान बाकस चाहिँ उसको हातमा छोडिएको छ ।
    • 金をぜんぶ彼に預けた I entrusted him with all the money.; I entrusted all the money to him.; I left all the money with him. पैसा सबै ऊसित राखेँ (/ साँचेँ) ।
  • 2〔世話を頼む〕 राख्नु ; धरो (/ धरौटी) राख्नु ;
    • 人に命を預ける put one's life in ~'s hand; आफ्नो ज्यान ~को हातमा छोड्नु
    • 子供を姉に預けた I left my child in my sister's care (/ charge). मैले बच्चा दिदीको रेखदेखमा राखेँ ।
    • 鍵を妹に預けて行こう I’d better leave the key to my sister. साँचो बहिनीको हातमा दिएर (/ छोडेर) जाऊँ ।
  • 3〔決定を一任する〕
    • この勝負は彼に預けよう Let's have him decide the winner. कसले जित्यो त्यसको निधो उसलाई छोडौं ।
